Multiple scams are circulating, falsely using Ntataise and the Department of Basic Education’s (DBE) details to deceive Practitioners and ECD Centres. These scams promise anything from Training to Equipment such as chairs, tables, charts, mats, paper, and more.

The scammers request only ‘small’ payment for the transportation and delivery of these items, with instructions for payment to be made at PEP store tills.

These scams are fraudulent, and no such programmes exists. We have already notified PEP of the scam, and we are working to uncover the origins of this criminal activity.

It is disheartening to see the good names of Ntataise and the DBE exploited in this dishonest way. We urge you to remain vigilant and to share this notice widely within your networks to protect innocent individuals from falling victim to these criminals.
