Ntataise is delighted to share our 2019 Annual Report with you. Last year was another exciting year for Ntataise and the Ntataise Network as we continued to work together to increase the quality of early years services in largely marginalised communities in seven of South Africa’s nine provinces. We trust you will enjoy reading about our programme highlights and the many milestones reached in our 39th year of operation.

TThe sudden national lockdown imposed to curb the outbreak of the Covid-19 infection rate hampered this report’s timeous delivery. As children were housebound and no longer able to attend ECD programmes, our attention shifted to focus on ways to support and continue the learning, nurturing care and stimulation of young children whilst at home for this reason, we hope you will forgive our delay in sharing this report.

The continued support and input of our Board of Trustees, Network members, Funders, and partners including government, made this success possible. Ntataise extends a heartfelt thank you to each of you for the role you have played in contributing to the effectiveness of our work.
