Caregiver Learning Through Play (CLTP) programme

The Caregivers and Learning through Play game activities are presented by the CLTP (Caregiver Learning Through Play) programme. The programme helps adults learn about the importance of play in children’s early years and how to help them grow, develop, and learn through play.

The programme has been running for the past three years. It has been implemented successfully by a consortium of partners, including Ntataise and the Ntataise Network.

Caregivers and Parents

Have you been to a meeting for parents or caregivers in the CLTP program? If you answer yes, you stand a chance to win great prizes! (If you don’t know, you can ask your ECD practitioner if they are involved with the CLTP through their Ntataise Network training partner.)

All you need to do is play the Caregiver and Learning through Play game using the unique Caregiver Recruiter code on the Ntataise APP and earn as many points as possible.

What is the Caregiver Recruiter code?

The ECD practitioner/teacher you met with must give you a unique code that will tell us who encouraged you to play the game. You need to provide a code to stand a chance to win. The code consists of two or three letters and three numbers, for example, NT004.

Prizes for Caregivers/Parents

Please read the incentive programme rules below. Prizes will be awarded based on the points earned playing the Caregiver and Learning through Play game on the Ntataise app.

Weekly winners:
Each week, we offer data prizes to individuals who earned the most points during the previous seven days (Monday morning to Sunday evening). Winners will be announced via WhatsApp.

Caregiver Recruiters

By organising CLTP parent/caregiver meetings, you can win great prizes. Encourage parents/caregivers to play the Caregivers and Learning through Play game using your unique Caregiver Recruiter code. 

Want to be a Caregiver Recruiter in the Caregiver and Learning through Play game?

You can win great prizes if you’re already in the Lego CLTP programme. Here’s what you need to do:

• Play the Caregiver and Learning through Play game and try to earn as many points as possible.
• Help caregivers/parents register on the APP and encourage them to play and complete the Caregivers and Learning through Play game.

You’ll earn points based on your performance in the game and the number of caregivers/parents you convince to participate and complete it.

Important:

• Make sure to read the rules of the incentive programme below!
• When you register on the APP, make sure to choose the correct organisation or team that introduced you to the APP or included you in the CLTP program.
• When you assist caregivers/parents in playing, they should also select the SAME organisation.
• Caregivers or parents must enter your unique Caregiver Recruiter Code when they play the Caregiver and Learning through Play game. Without your code, they won’t count towards your final score.

• Please note: The leaderboard only shows the points you earn by playing the Caregiver and Learning through Play games. The caregiver/parent recruitment points are calculated outside the system.

What is a Caregiver Recruiter Code? 

The Caregiver Recruiter code allows us to identify the caregivers/parents you encouraged and assisted in registering on the Ntataise app and playing the Caregiver and Learning through Play game. The caregivers/parents you recruit to play the game must use the code; otherwise, we can not count them towards your final points.

The code consists of two or three letters and three numbers, for example, NT004.

Prizes for ECD Practitioners

Make sure to read the rules of the incentive programme below! 

Prizes will be given based on the points accumulated while playing the Caregiver and Learning through Play game on the Ntataise APP, the total number of caregivers/parents motivated to participate, and the progress they achieve within the game. The game must be played to stand a chance to win.

Weekly winners:
Each week, we offer data prizes to ECD Practitioners who recruited the most caregivers/parents during the previous seven days, regardless of how far they progressed in the game (Monday morning to Sunday evening). Winners will be announced via WhatsApp.

Incentive Programme Rules

1. The incentive programme only applies to ECD practitioners and caregivers/parents in the official CLTP programme, managed through a Ntataise Network training organisation.
2. The incentive programme runs from April 1st to November 30th.
3. The Caregiver and Learning through Play game can only be played once.
4. If you’re a participating parent or caregiver, you can’t work in the ECD sector. When you sign up, make sure you pick the correct role: caregiver or parent.
5. The winners in all categories will have their entries double-checked to ensure they followed the rules correctly.
6. Stock images or images taken from the internet (or Google) will disqualify the entry.
7. Once the winners are decided, it’s final – no changes.
8. Ensure you understand who will be identified as weekly, monthly and overall winners.
9. Weekly, monthly, and overall, winners will be announced via WhatsApp.
10. The final overall winners will be announced on December 5th.
11. The final prizes will presented after January 15th, 2025.
12. Caregiver recruiters will only be identified by caregivers or parents who used their unique Caregiver Code.
